Presented within our DIAL project, EC STER is an innovative powder-based cold sterilization system for medical instruments. According to the manufacturer’s brochure, it combines cleansing and sterilization in a single immersion treatment at room temperature, helping remove organic residues and biofilm.
Single-dose vials are mixed with water to prepare a 0.35% solution. The brochure specifies approximately 10 minutes of immersion, depending on the level of soiling, and solution stability of 48 hours.
Use must follow the current manufacturer’s instructions, including device compatibility, processing conditions, and sterile rinsing and drying.
EC STER offers cold sterilization solutions for medical instruments, complemented by EC STER SPRAY for the treatment and disinfection of surfaces in healthcare settings.
